During last year’s WJMC sponsorship, 27-year-old Ryan from Glamorgan had his best season to date reaching the final of the Malta Cup, the quarter finals of the Northern Ireland Trophy and, more importantly, becoming ranked 16 in the world. This ranking position secures Ryan’s place in the top flight, which, in turn, means that he doesn’t have to qualify for this season’s ranking events.

29-year-old Michael from Nottingham also had his fair share of victories last season, winning the German Open and dramatically defeating Ronnie O’Sullivan 5-3 on his way to reaching the last 16 of the Malta Cup. These achievements secured Michael’s place as number 24 in this year’s World rankings and demonstrated his abilities on the table.
